This month, China-based luxury tour operator Imperial Tours will expand its China Expert Training Program with four one-hour training sessions featuring in-depth information on destinations and hotels and strategies for up-selling. Once agents have completed the program and produced a certain amount of revenue, they will be eligible to receive up to an $1,800 cash bonus or a free FAM trip. Luxury Travel Advisor attended a virtual press conference this afternoon with Imperial Tours founder, Guy Rubin, who was live from Beijing launching the company's new tour product, China Escapades. Until recently, Imperial Tours provided only small luxury tours called Ultimate China. These were fully inclusive and designed for travelers who wanted a flawless travel experience without having to lift a finger.
