Imperial
Tours was founded in 1999 by Westerners who have lived in China for many years.
It combines local knowledge and know-how with a top-quality, professional
service; we bridge the gap between your preference for high quality service
and its provision in China.
Guy Rubin - Managing Partner
Born in Israel, raised in the UK and resident in France and Russia as part of his degree at Cambridge University, Guy's work for a London-based strategy consultancy opened his eyes to many countries across the northern hemisphere. First setting foot in Beijing in 1994, he was immediately smitten. He returned to live here in 1997, as intrigued by China's history and exoticism as he was befuddled by its tonal language and astonished by its potential impact on the world. Guy has been in Beijing ever since and is responsible for general management. (Click here to download a bio of Guy Rubin)
Nancy Kim - Managing Partner
With a BA in Western art history from the University of Pennsylvania, and post-graduate degrees in East Asian art history from the universities of London, Seoul and Beijing, Nancy is well-qualified to advise on East Asian art. Born in Seoul, Korea, raised in Beverly Hills, U.S.A, and schooled in Lugano,Switzerland, she ably bridges the gap between east and west. Apart from art and design, her abiding interest is in food.
Nancy has also lived in Beijing since 1997; she oversees operations and ensures their quality. (Click here to download a bio of Nancy Kim)
Margot Kong - Director of Sales & Marketing
Ethnically Chinese, born in South Africa and raised
in the USA, where she graduated from Barnard College, Columbia University, Margot Kong's
background is as diverse as her tastes. When she's not snow-boarding or
in-line skating, she's dancing ballet or swing. Somehow, during ten years
of sales and public relations at blue-chip firms, she squeezed in trips
across six of the world's continents. Anxious to introduce the best of
China to the rest of the world, Margot is based in San Francisco and is responsible for sales and marketing. (Click here to download a bio of Margot Kong)
